The Urban Forestry Commission is meeting on Wed., August 4, 2010 from 3-5 PM in Suite 1940 of the Seattle Municipal Tower, 700 5th Ave in downtown Seattle. The whole meeting will be devoted to the DPD proposal. There will be a 15 minute public comment period at the beginning of the meeting. This means 3 minutes each for 5 people. We need to coordinate who should speak and what they say. All speakers plus anyone else can submit written comments which will be posted in the minutes for the meeting on the UFC's website. All written comments can be sent to Tracey.Morgenstern@seattle.gov in advance of the meeting and will be given to the UFC members. copies should also be sent to the Mayor and all City Council members.
The following week on Wed. August 11, 2010, from 3-5 PM the Urban Forestry Commission will also meet as a whole and discuss their comments they will make on the proposal. This meeting will also be in the Seattle Municipal Tower, 700 5th Ave but in a different room - Room 2240.
